New England-Based Technology Company Donates Time and Money to Local Non-Profits

Salem, NH (January 20, 2016) – 鶹ýӳ is not just an award-winning New England-based technology company, but a business intently focused on bettering the lives of its employees and the surrounding community. Through 鶹ýӳ StepsUP, the company’s community outreach and sustainability initiative, all employees of 鶹ýӳ are given time to help out at local non-profit organizations. Each team member is offered up to 48 hours of paid time per year to do volunteer work with the company’s selected charities.

The holiday season is usually filled with joy and peace, but for some families, it was also a time of great need. This past season, to aid struggling individuals around New Hampshire and Massachusetts, 鶹ýӳ CEOs, Belisario and Leslie Rosas, encouraged their team to give back to their community with Random Acts of Kindness. Each employee was given $50 to spend during the months of November and December on any random act of kindness for a stranger. From helping a struggling war veteran with his electricity bill to paying off the balance for a low-income child’s school lunch program, all employees of 鶹ýӳ were able to help someone in need.

The list of non-profits receiving aid from 鶹ýӳ is long. Activities in 2015 included helping out MSPCA with barn animals like horses, chickens and goats at Nevins Farm, assisting young people at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem, sending volunteers to the Lazarus House Ministries’ Good Shepherd soup kitchen, collecting and donating more than 18,000 items to Salem Ends 68 Hours of Hunger, and speaking at Bellesini Academy’s career day and science fair.

This past holiday season, 鶹ýӳ is also participated in several seasonal giving opportunities. Employees donated time to the Lazarus House’s toy drive and store, organized a giving tree for 150 children and a technology drive at the Nashua Children’s Home, and a “Toys for Tots” event which delivered more than 100 gifts to local kids.

From watching films about sensitive social injustices around the world to educate their team to think from a global perspective, to getting outside and helping out at non-profit organizations, 鶹ýӳ’s employees are making a noticeable mark on the community round them.
